Drama Week 2

Today the class talked about different fairy tales. During the discussion we thought about how we could change the fairy tales into a sort of hip hop theme. The fairy tale I chose was Little Red Riding Hood. There are five people in our group Julius, Filip, Gabby, Manouk and I. I think we work well as a team apart from the boys keep messing around and we can hardly get our work done. I think we have an evaluating idea of what we are going to do.
Cast
" The Wolf "(Mafia's) - Filip and Julius
Grandma - Gabby
"Britney" Red Riding Hood - Manouk
Policewoman - Annabel

The idea of the play is that Britney goes out to see her grandma. She has to walk through the city because we are doing a modern day version. Then, The Wolf captures Britney and try to take her to their secret lair. Little do they know, that the policewoman is going to stop them from doing this and she will bring Britney to her grandma's house. Her grandma is also very modern, she knows slang and abbreviations. She is always texting Britney about things that have been going on. Britney loves this about her. She can never wait to go to her grandma's house.

Annabel Burton. Drama week 1.

In todays lesson, we played some really fun games. All including improvising, listening and concentrating. First of all, we played a bean bag game. We received the bean from someone in the class and had to pass it on to another random person in the class. We had to remember who we had received it from and who we threw it too. We also played backwards, I relieved it from who i threw it too.
Sound Scape was another game that we played. 3 people sat in the middle off the circle.
